In "Missy’s Misadventure" we find Missy the Dog relaxing on the couch, enjoying Christmas tunes and smells! Then, just as Missy is feeling safe and secure, Mom rushes out of the house forgetting to put Missy in her kennel.  Wandering from room to room, Missy discovers a chocolate bar and promptly gobbles it up.  Mom and Dad return home and discover Missy’s stomach is making sloshing noises.  They rush Missy to the Emergency Vet Clinic.  Missy has to eat black chalk paste to soak up the chocolate, and then is sent home to rest. Callie the Cat, who’s been watching and cautioning Missy as the story progresses has the last word.
